The Shelter relies on monthly pledges to pay vet bills, purchase pet food, a myriad of supplies, vaccines, wormers, flea/tick control products and other expenses directly related to Shelter animals. Like any organization -- whether a household or a nonprofit like Friends of Strays -- regular income is essential for budgeting expenses. Monthly, tax-deductible pledges in any amount, are very important. When you choose to support the Shelter's humane work, in any amount, on a monthly basis, a pledge book, with monthly coupons, is issued. The coupons are mailed in with your donation; the stub is retained as your record for tax purposes.
